Medichive is an independent, founder-led health technology company based in Kochi, Kerala, India. We build a health record that belongs to the patient — and a consent-gated workspace for the clinicians they choose to share it with.
Health records in India are scattered across paper files, WhatsApp forwards and a dozen lab portals. When it matters — a new specialist, a second opinion, an emergency abroad — nobody has the whole picture, least of all the patient.
Medichive puts that picture in one place. You upload a report; it is read automatically, coded to LOINC — the same standard the labs use — and the same test from three different labs lands on one trend line, with every value linked back to the report it came from. Add vitals, medications, allergies, insurance and connected wearables, and the record becomes something you can actually follow over years.
On top of that sits an optional clinical workspace. A doctor a patient has explicitly shared with sees a real chart instead of a stack of PDFs, and can draft visit notes by voice for review and signature. AI assists with extraction, summarising and drafting; every clinical output is marked as AI-generated and waits for a clinician to review, edit and sign. Clinical use is in limited beta.
Access is consent-gated end to end: sharing is scoped, time-limited and revocable, every read is written to an append-only audit log, and there is no administrator backdoor into patient records.
One timeline for you and the family members you manage — reports, lab trends, medications and reminders, vitals, check-ins and wearable data, on any device.
A verified, consent-gated workspace: patient chart and trends, voice-to-note drafting for review and signature, and AI assistance that is always advisory and always marked.
Scoped, time-limited, revocable sharing; encryption in transit and at rest; an append-only audit log; and no admin bypass to patient records.

Get it on Google PlayMedichive has two founders, who started it together in 2018. Everyone involved is named here with a link you can check independently.
Medichive is the second attempt. Both of us started it in November 2018 — the same idea, approached with the tools of the time — and shelved it in June 2019, eight months later. The question underneath it did not go away. Work restarted in May 2026, and the product described on this page was built from scratch and shipped to the web, the App Store and Google Play.
One engineer, a deliberately boring stack, and a hard line about what software may decide on its own.
The API runs on Cloud Run with data in Firestore; the web app and this site are hosted on Firebase. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, with managed keys.
Clinical scoring and staging are computed deterministically in code, never by a language model. AI extracts, summarises and drafts — a clinician reviews and signs.
Labs are normalised to LOINC and conditions coded to ICD-11, so a record stays portable and comparable across the labs and hospitals a patient actually uses.
Health software attracts overstatement. We would rather be exact about the boundaries of what Medichive is today.
